Bhubaneswar, Jan 30 (FN Bureau) Odisha has embraced a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to energy development under the ambitious vision of Viksit Odisha 2047,Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo said. Speaking at the sectoral session on Renewable Energy for Viksit Odisha and Equipment Manufacturing for Renewable Energy on the concluding day of ‘Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025’, o Wednesday, Singh Deo said the Government is keen to partner with industry leaders to meet our renewable energy aspirations and contribute significantly towards greener future.
He announced that MoUs were signed with “MCL, NLC, IOCL, ONGC Tripura Power Company, RECPDCL and HPCL in solar, wind, pumped storage, battery storage and compressed biogas sectors for development of projects of worth 1.24 lakh crore. The Deputy CM also announced that a total of 4.33 lakh crore investment is obtained in the energy sector. “We are dedicated to balancing industrial growth with environmental sustainability, ensuring that our progress is both inclusive and responsible,” e said.
