IndiGo operates 11 special flights from Imphal between May 6 and 9

New Delhi, May 9 (Agency) IndiGo has operated 9 flights from Imphal between May 6 and 8 to increase capacity for travel to Kolkata, Guwahati, Agartala, and Hyderabad. The airline will add 2 additional flights on May 9 from Imphal to Patna and Kolkata. IndiGo is operating these flights with A320 and ATR aircraft, according to Indigo statement. The airline continues to operate regular flights from Imphal to Kolkata, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Agartala and Shillong.

IndiGo also waived off the rescheduling and cancellation charges on all flights to and from Imphal from May 4 to11. The airline is closely liaising with the authorities to offer further additional flights as needed. These additional flights provided more options to people to travel out of Manipur while keeping the fares affordable. IndiGo remains committed to responding to the critical humanitarian need of the hour, enabling the safe return of the stranded citizens back to their families.
