Adani Ports profit up 3 pc in Q4 at Rs 1,141 cr

New Delhi, May 30 (FN Agency) Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) on Tuesday reported 2.63% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,140.97 crore for January-March quarter of financial year 2022-23. The port operator had posted Rs 1,111.63 crore crore profit in the Q4 of 2021-22. The company’s total revenue in the March quarter of FY23 stood at Rs 6,179.12 crore as against Rs 4,739.08 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. For the full financial year 2022-23, APSEZ posted a profit of Rs 5,393 crore as against Rs 4,953 crore in FY22 registering 9% growth. Total revenue of the company in FY23 was Rs 22,405 crore as compared to Rs 19,342 crore in FY22.

The company said that FY23 had been a stellar year for APSEZ in operational as well as financial performance. “The company has overachieved against its highest-ever revenue and EBITDA guidance provided at the beginning of the year. Our strategy of geographical diversification, cargo mix diversification, and business model transition to a transport utility is enabling robust growth,” said Karan Adani, CEO and Whole Time Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone.
