Mumbai, Feb 18 (Agency) The BSE Sensex on Thursday rose by 200 pts at 51,903.96 on the strength of Materials, Energy and FMCG stocks. The Nifty too moved up by 29 pts to 15,238.70. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 51,903.96 and 51,652.67 pts respectively. The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,250.75 and 15,199.95 respectively. The Mid Cap fell by 0.05 pc while Small Cap rose by 0.40 pc.
In 30 scrips Mid Cap advanced by 1.14 pc and Small Cap by 1.21 pc. The gainers were ONGC by 7.19 pc to Rs 109.55, NTPC by 3.42 pc to Rs 102.75, Asian Points by 3.01 pc to Rs 2461.15, SBI by 1.92 pc to Rs 420.05 and Powergrid by 1.91 pc to Rs 234.45. The losers were ICICI Bank by 1.56 pc to Rs 646.75, Kotak Bank by 1.45 pc to Rs 1960.40, Bajaj finance by 1.42 pc to Rs 5622.65 and M & M by 1.28 pc to Rs 902.45.
