New Delhi, Feb. 9 (Agency) Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the new U.S. President Jeo Biden on Monday night and discussed regional issues and shared priorities of the two countries. In a tweet, Prime Minister Modi said: Spoke to @POTUS@JoeBiden and conveyed my best wishes for his success. We discussed regional issues and our shared priorities. We also agreed to further our co-operation against climate change.’’ Mr Modi said that President Biden and he are committed to rules-based international order.
We look forward to consolidating our strategic partnership to further peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.’’ It was the first telephonic conversation of Prime Minister Modi and the U.S. President Joe Biden after his inauguration last month.
