Meghbela has launched a voice-enabled Android Box for consumers looking to convert their regular TV sets into a Smart TV. Powered by Google Assistant, the Android Box provides access to premium OTT platforms and more than 150 Live TV Channels. The customers can dive into the world of superfast broadband with upto 250 MBPS speed and experience ad-free entertainment and music with Amazon Prime, Zee5, Hungama, Hubhopper, ShemarooMe, Gaana along with Bengali OTT Players like Hoichoi, Addatimes and Bongo TV. The Android Box can be connected to any TV through an HDMI port or AV input. The TV screen will then display the Android 9 interface, through which a customer can toggle and browse content across popular OTT platforms and Live TV channels. There are three long-duration tariff plans available for consumers in Kolkata and Rest of Bengal of Quarterly for Rs 5250, Half-Yearly for Rs 9000 and Yearly for Rs 15,000. There are four monthly plans on offer as well with varied benefits.
Meghbela has also introduced a Zero Cost EMI facility in partnership with HDFC Bank to make it convenient for customers to pay in interest-free EMIs of 3/6/9/12 months. Not only this, Meghbela has partnered with Oriental Insurance to offer their customers Corona Kavach health insurance worth Rs 1 lakh to protect them against Covid-19.
