New Delhi, Feb 22 (Agency) India on Monday recorded 14,199 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, pushing the country caseload to 1,10,05,850, while the death toll soared to 1,56,385 with 83 more fatalities.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the active cases rose by 4421 to stand at 1,50,055. It is now 1.32 per cent of the total caseload. The past 24 hours saw 9,695 people recovering from the deadly virus, taking the total recovery count to 1,06,99,410, which is 97.25 per cent of the case tally. The fatality rate stood at 1.42 per cent.
