The Staff Selection Commission CHSL Recruitment 2024 Notification OUT for 3712 Vacancies at ssc.gov.in
The Staff Selection Commission uploaded the recruitment notification and started the online registration for CHSL Exam 2024 on its website i.e. ssc.gov.in. The online registrations started on 09 April and will be continued till 07 May on the website of the commission. The window for application correction will remain open on 10 and 11 May.
According to the notice, the Candidates who wish to apply in response to this Notice will be required to generate their One Time Registration (OTR) on the new website as the old OTR will not be functional for the new website. The candidates may complete the One one-time registration (OTR) as soon as possible well in advance before publication of the Notice for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024.
The commission is filling up a total of 3712 vacant posts for Combined Higher Secondary Level Posts, including Lower Divisional Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators, for various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India, as well as various Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, etc., Details of the examination and others are provided in the PDF below:

What is SSC CHSL Salary ?
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300).
- Data Entry Operator, Grade „A‟: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100).
What is SSC CHSL Exam Date 2024
Staff Selection Commission is conducting the CHSL examination every year. SSC CHSL exam is conducted will be held two stages i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2. SSC CHSL Tier 1 for the year 2024 will be held in June-July.
What is SSC CHSL Vacancy 2024
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified for 3712 vacancies for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) examination for recruitment to various posts as mentioned below:
- Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Data Entry Operator (Grade A)
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examinationcan also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01 August.

How to Apply for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 ?
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the notification for SSC CHSL 2024 and the candidates can, now, apply online on the official website following the steps given below:
- Visit the SSC Website: Visit the official website of the commission – ssc.gov.in
- Registration: You will need to register yourself on the website if you haven’t done so already.
- Fill Out the Application Form: Once registered, you can access and fill out the application form for SSC CHSL 2024.
- Upload Documents: Upload the scanned copies of your documents like photograph, signatures, and educational certificates.
- Fee Payment: After filling up the application, the candidates are required to pay Rs. 100.
The notification further reads, In the new application module, live photographs of the candidates will be captured for which either a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device can be used. The candidates should exercise due care while taking their photographs. The following instructions should particularly be kept in mind:
- Find a place with good light and plain background
- Ensure the camera is at eye level before taking the photo.
- Position yourself directly in front of the webcam and look straight ahead.
- Candidates shouldn’t wear a cap, mask or glasses / spectacles while taking a livephoto.
