Recruitment to the Posts of Dental Surgeons in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical Services (Dental) Cadre, under Health & Family Welfare Department, WEBSITE – http://opsc.gov.in
Online applications are invited from the prospective candidates through the Proforma Application form to be made available on the Website of the Commission (http//:www.opsc.gov.in) for recruitment to 197 (65-w) posts of Dental Surgeons in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical Services (Dental) Cadre, under Health & Family Welfare Department in the Level 12, Cell-1 of ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time. 2. VACANCY POSITION: As per requisition filed by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, out of a total of 197 (65-w) vacancies, 73 (24-w) vacancies are for UR category, 16 (05-w) vacancies are reserved for SEBC category, 24 (08-w) vacancies are reserved for SC category and 84 (28-w) vacancies are reserved for ST category. Also, 02 vacancies are reserved for Sports persons and 08 vacancies for persons with Disabilities (whose Permanent Disability is 40% and more).
- AGE: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (Twenty one) years and must not be above 38 (Thirty eight) years as on 1st day of January 2023 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1985 and not later than 1st January, 2002.
- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A candidate must have possessed a BDS or Equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). 5. EXAMINATION FEE: The candidates are exempted for payment of examination fee as per G.A. & P.G. Department letter No. 9897/Gen., dt.11.04.2022.
