NEET-PG 2024 examination paper leak claims are false: NBEMS

New Delhi, Aug 7 (FN Agency) Debunking media reports about a potential leak of the NEET-PG 2024 examination paper, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on Wednesday clarified that it has already registered a complaint against those trying to befool aspirants by claiming to leak questions for money. The board termed the information as “false and misleading”, cautioning NEET-PG applicants not to get misled by such unscrupulous elements. It further assured the candidates that the question papers for NEET-PG 2024 are yet to be prepared, stating, “The claims of a paper leak made on social media platforms like Telegram are ‘bogus’.”

“Some media reports are highlighting social media posts alleging possible paper leak of NEET PG 2024 examination. Such reports are false and misleading, ” NBEMS said in a statement. “It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous agents are making false and bogus claims by dint of social media platform viz. Telegram Messenger. The cozeners are claiming to provide NEET-PG 2024 questions for the upcoming NEET-PG 2024 Examination in exchange for a considerable amount of money, ” it added. The NBEMS confirmed, ” It has already filed a police complaint against these fraudsters and their accomplices for their attempt to befool NEET-PG aspirants in the name of providing questions of NEET-PG 2024 for a considerable sum of money.”

Strongly denying the false claims made by the Telegram channel titled “NEET-PG LEAKED MATERIAL”, the board cautions applicants not to be allured or misled by such unscrupulous elements. “All candidates are assured that the question papers for NEET-PG 2024 are yet to be prepared by NBEMS and claims of paper leak made in social media platforms are bogus, ” the board said. The NBEMS also advised people to refrain from indulging in any of such activities or publishing or spreading rumours without verifying the facts adding, ” They shall be appropriately dealt with by the board.” It further asked the candidates to report such incidents through its Communication Web Portal: https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main or to the local police for further investigation, if they are approached by any such unscrupulous agents promising any such undue favour/promising to provide question papers for NBEMS examinations through any spoofed emails, SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally or through social media.
