CBSE declares class 10th, 12th results; 87.98% students pass 12th

New Delhi, May 13 (FN Agency) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the results of Class 10th and 12th board examinations. The students who appeared for the exam can check and download their results from the official websites www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.gov.in as well as digilocker and Umang apps. According to the CBSE, around 87.98 percent of students have passed 12th board exams which is 0.65 percent higher than the last year’s percentage. The girls have outshined boys yet again.

Over 24,000 candidates have scored above 95 percent and over one lakh sixteen thousand students got above 90 percent in this examination. In the 10th board examination, the overall passing percentage is 93.60. The passing percentage of girls is 94.75 while for boys, it is 92.71. This year also girls outperformed boys, with agap of around 2%. The overall pass percentage of girls has increased from 94.25% in 2023 to 94.75% in 2024. For boys, the pass percentage increased from 92.27% in 2023 to 92.71% in 2024. For transgender students too, it increased from 90% last year to 91.30% this year.
