Amol Awasthi is a leader and one of the pioneers in the IT industry known globally. With his past 21 years of successful career, he has built a career by using cutting-edge technology to change businesses, especially in places like Africa and the Middle East that are still growing. Amol Awasthi is the founder and CEO of Catalyst Business Partners (CBP) and co-founder of Terra Firma Commodities (TFC). He has not only built a successful company, but he has also helped give a shape to the future of IT services especially in some of the world’s least-served areas. Amol finished his academics and started his professional journey in the United States. He joined MirrorPlus Technologies as the founder employee with penny stock options. The company specialized in providing technology solutions to businesses and grew rapidly during his tenure. But in 2003, the company was bought by American Reprographics, which gave Amol Awasthi Dubai a lot of learning to run a business along to enhance his knowledge of mergers and acquisitions. American Reprographics made the company go public in 2005, which was a big moment in Amol’s career and set the stage for his future projects. After his amazing journey at MirrorPlus Technologies, Amol initiated a small startup in 2002 in the United State- Catalyst Business Partners. CBP was established with a clear goal: to help businesses succeed in a world that is becoming more and more digital.
His dream was to build a business that could use technology to help businesses grow, especially in places where standard IT solutions weren’t as good. Even though CBP started out in the US, it quickly spread around the world. Amol Awasthi quickly realized, though, that the real chance lay in emerging countries, especially Africa, where IT infrastructure was still very new. In 2006, Amol made the smart choice to move to Dubai where he set up a CBP branch so that he could also focus on the African market. He knew that Dubai was the best place for Amol to start his plans to grow and that is because of its great location and strong business climate. He worked tirelessly and in the next ten years, Amol Awasthi Dubai led CBP’s growth into new countries like Senegal, Guinea, Cameroon, and Egypt. It is really amazing sharing that, CBP has now more than 200 employees with a turnover of $25 million a year. Amol Awasthi has been very successful in Africa because of his talent for reading the market conditions and capitalizing on unique chances. However, he also passed through a phase where he also faced a lack of facilities and systematic problems with the rules and regulations which made things very hard in many African countries. But Amol Awasthi, with his deep knowledge of the IT business and his skill at making strong connections with local partners, managed it very smoothly that helped CBP do very well in these markets. His work has not only transformed businesses but has also created jobs and improved infrastructure in some of the most underserved regions of the world.
Beyond CBP, Amol has extended his influence that reaches far and wide. He has also invested in multiple businesses and projects especially ones that are focused on ecology and new ideas. Amol Awasthi also co-founded Terra Firma Commodities (TFC) in Dubai where TFC focuses on doing an environment friendly business. He is also a partner and board member for Senslytics Corporation and The Trip Works Holdings Ltd., which gives him even more power in areas other than IT. As long as Amol runs CBP and puts money into new, novel businesses, his impact on the world of business will only grow. With his leadership skill and exceptional direction, he has not only helped companies to change their operations but also helped them to grow. With his utmost achievements, he has proved that technology plays an effective tool for bringing good in the business and helping people and companies to find appropriate chances even in the worst places. He will always be remembered as a great global business leader, and his work continues to motivate people to think big and make a difference.
