EV industry’s growth hinges on sustainable models: Luv Aggarwal

New Delhi, Aug 13 (Agency) The fourth edition of India’s largest electric motor show is set to take place at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida on September 18, 19, and 20, a statement said on Tuesday. The event is anticipated to be significant given the rising trend of electric vehicles in India. A group discussion was held recently at the India International Centre to outline the three-day programme.

The central theme of the panel discussion was “Creating Customer Satisfaction for Electric Vehicle Customers in India: Facing Challenges and Opportunities with ‘Mass Movement’.” The panel featured Management Education and Research Institute’s Luv Aggarwal and Dr Tapash Dey, Vice President of MERI. EV industry’s growth hinges on sustainable models, said Luv Aggarwal. Luv Aggarwal, a guest speaker, highlighted the global startup and business creation ecosystem, focusing on young entrepreneurs. He emphasised the need for “sustainable business models that can grow from the grassroots level, be scalable, and be profitable.”

Aggarwal discussed the challenges startups face in raising funds and underscored the importance of government support and schemes for incubators, citing the SWAM initiative as an example of how the government assists young entrepreneurs. In response to a query about MERI’s support for Start Incubatees, Aggarwal explained that “MERI provides extensive legal knowledge through mentorship and contributes to helping young entrepreneurs.” He added that MERI fosters collaboration among incubatees to create a more organised and supportive environment. At the beginning of the event, Sivansh Goyal, the main organiser, welcomed all guests and expressed gratitude for their presence.
