BJP chief criticises INDIA bloc

Kaithal (HYN), May 19 (Representative) BJP national president J P Nadda on Sunday attacked INDIA bloc, calling it a gathering of corrupt people. Addressing the Vijay Sankalp public meeting here for party candidate Naveen Jindal, he claimed that this is an arrogant alliance, everyone in it is family-oriented, corrupt and people who insult women. Their activities are very dirty, he charged. However, political culture of the country has changed under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said. Also, corruption was curtailed under Modi, he claimed and said that today India has a high status in the world. Training his guns on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), BJP chief said that three of its leaders are in jail on corruption charge. “Will you allow such leaders who misbehave with women in their houses come to power,” he questioned. Comparing work of the Modi government with previous governments, he claimed that amount of work that was done in last nine and half years had never happened earlier. “Ten years ago, an indifferent mentality was surrounding us but now under leadership of Modi, the entire India is working towards a developed India.

This is changing India. Also, the road infrastructure in the country has been improved,” he said. Nadda claimed that “earlier during the time of Congress, jobs were sold, now our government has done the work of giving jobs on merit.” Earlier, politics in the country was done in the name of religion and in the name of region, he claimed and said now under the leadership of Modi, the entire country moved forward with a mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. Today, the politics of accountability has started, he said. Also, under leadership of Modi, India’s economy has jumped from number 11 to fifth rank in the world, he said. Due to distribution of ration to poor, 25 crore people in the country have come out of poverty, he informed and claimed that extreme poor in India have now remained less than one per cent. Houses are being given to people under PM Awas Yojana, BJP chief said and informed that till now four crore houses have been completed in Haryana. He promised that three crore more houses will be built in next five years in the state.Nadda also assured that ir BJP comes to power again, it will give 33 per cent reservation to women in next Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
