Hyderabad, May 20 (Agency) The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024 conducted by the Telangana School Education Commission began across the state on Monday.For the first time, the TET exam is being conducted online in a computer-based mode. The TET exams will continue until June 2, with two daily sessions. This year, 286,386 people have applied for the TET exam, including 48,582 in-service teachers.
99,958 people applied for the first paper, and 186,428 people applied for the second paper. Session 1 is conducted from 0900 to 1130 hours, and Session 2 is conducted from 1400 to 1630 hours.There are 80 exam locations overall, with the Medchal Malkajgiri district having the most with 25, and Ranga Reddy district having the second-highest number with 17. Police have made tight security arrangements at the examination centres.
