Thane, Feb 21(FN Bureau) The Maharashtra government will hold a two-day “Namo Maharojgar” meeting for the Konkan division in Thane district from February 29, an official statement said on Wednesday. The employment fair has been organised to create employment opportunities for the state\\s youth. The meeting will be held at Majiwada, Thane (West), the statement said. The state government has set a target to provide employment to 1.50 lakh youths through this means.
In this background, the district administration has appealed to companies in Thane and other districts of Konkan division to inform the administration about their vacant posts, and asked jobless youths interested in employment to register themselves on the portal https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in. All government, semi-government, and private establishments in the district are required to notify and publish entrepreneur registration and vacancies, as well as candidate registration and registration for vacancies, on the web portal. The last date for private establishments to register their vacancies on the web portal is February 22.
