Imphal, Jan 30 (FN Bureau) The Women’s Show Jumping on the third day of the ongoing 17th Ningthoukhongjam Tombi State Equestrian Championships, 2024, concluded in an exciting exhibition of riding skills at the Manipuri Pony Breeding Farm, Lamphelpat, here on Tuesday. Rajkumari Neelu of the Chinkheihunba Polo Club won the gold, while Mona Kamei of the Lamphel Polo Club won the silver. The rosette ceremony of the winners of the Women’s Show Jumping was done by Ningthoukhongjam Radhapyari Devi, Retd Associate Professor, and Ningthoukhongjam Sabita Devi. In the junior’s tent pegging, Lance L. Abinash of Imphal Riding Club won gold, while L Arnold of K&MMRS and S Marjit of Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club won silver and bronze, respectively.
The rosette ceremony of the winners of the Junior’s Lance Tent Pegging was done by N Radhapyari Devi, N Sabita Devi, Salam Girimohon Singh, and Dr Asem Devendra Singh. On the fourth day, January 31, Round B of the Tent Pegging Senior Lance (individual), Senior Show Jumping, and Tent Pegging Team will be held in the morning session at 8.30 a.m. In the afternoon session, Round B of Junior Show Jumping and Tent Pegging Sword will be held. The Arambai Target Throw, being introduced this year, will be held in the afternoon.
