Bhubaneswar, Dec 26 (Agency) The sleuths of Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday unearthed assets worth crores from the possession of IDCO Chief General Manager Saroj Kanta Mohanty. Vigilance sources said on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Vigilance led by 10 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, and other staff at the properties of Mohanty in as many as seven places in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jajpur.
During house searches the Vigilance officials have so far unearthed two multistoried buildings, two flats, 10 plots, and other assets.Out of 10 plots, 7 plots are in the prime area of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The measurement and valuation of the buildings, flats, plots is being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing. The searches are continuing.
