Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), East Central Railway (ECR) has released notification for various Group C posts in Employment News (December 16-22), 2023. Candidates having requisite educational qualification have golden opportunity to apply for these Group C posts which are available against Scout and Guide Quota 2023/24.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before January 15, 2024. (January 30, 2024 is the last date for applicants of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh and candidates residing abroad.)

What is the RRC ECR Group C Posts Eligibility
The eligibility criteria and age limit for the various Group C posts have been released by the RRC ECR on its official website. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50 per cent marks in the aggregate from a recognised board. 50 % marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/ post graduation etc. Or, 10th pass plus course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT for Technician grade III in level 2 of pay matrix of 7th CPC.

The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a written examination and Scout and Guide qualification over the minimum prescribed eligibility condition.
