Hoshiarpur, Sep 29 (Agency) Azad Kisan Committee, Doaba, activists continued their dharna at the Hoshiarpur railway station in Punjab for the second day on Friday demanding the Central government enact a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for various agricultural crops to safeguard farmers from price fluctuations. Their demands also include waiver of farmers’ debts, cancellation of all police cases registered against peasants, compensation for the families of those who sacrificed their lives during the farmers’ agitation against the three contentious central farm laws in 2020-21, and aid for flood victims.
