Farmers will get ‘chemical and organic fertilizers in Bhausaheb Fundkar Orchard Plantation Scheme: Bhumre
Mumbai, Sep 23 (Agency) The state government has taken a big decision for the farmers and now the farmers will get chemical and organic fertilizers, says Employment Guarantee Scheme and Horticulture Minister Sandipan Bhumre on Friday. He said that ,instead of giving Water through drip irrigation in Bhausaheb Fundkar Orchard Plantation Scheme, from 2023- 24 it has been approved to include the matter of ‘giving chemical and organic fertilizers’ . Under the scheme Bhausaheb Fundkar Phalbagh, the subsidy for the construction of drip irrigation system was being paid to the beneficiaries through the Centrally Sponsored National Scheme Per Drop More Crops.
Also, since the farmers are benefiting from the drip irrigation system from other schemes, it has been decided to include ‘fertilizer’ in the Bhausaheb Fundkar Orchard Planting Scheme instead of providing water through drip irrigation and approve the revised parameters, said Mr Bhumre. Revised parameters per hectare have been approved for government subsidized items under Bhausaheb Fundkar Orchard Plantation Scheme,he added.
