New Delhi, Sep 14 (Agency) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliament Board on Wednesday passed a resolution congratulating the Prime Minister for conducting the “historic and unprecedented” G20 summit in New Delhi. The resolution has been passed after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the party headquarters after “successfully” conducting the G20 summit in Delhi on September 10. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rousing welcome at the BJP HQ in Delhi and was felicitated by senior leader Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh including Party President JP Nadda. As per the resolution, “We note with great pride the impeccable leadership and unwavering commitment showcased by PM Modi at the Summit”.
“The G20 Delhi summit stands as a monumental chapter in India’s diplomatic annals, marking a transformative moment in how our nation is perceived and engaged with on the global stage” it said. The resolution further said We (BJP) complimented PM Modi for his efforts in ensuring an extensive and visionary G20 New Delhi Declaration. The declaration is a testament to foresight, acting as a guiding beacon for our times and beyond”. PM Modi also chaired the party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) to discuss Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh elections. CEC’s previous meeting was in August and candidates for 39 seats for the polls in Madhya Pradesh and 21 for Chhattisgarh, were selected. Assembly polls are due in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram in November-December.
