New Delhi, Sep 2 (Mayank Nigam) The Namibia Tourism Board and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority on Saturday announced their momentous collaboration with TravelLive, a pioneering digital-age travel start-up, to introduce Namibian and Zimbabwean tourism to Eastern India for the first time. The event was organised on the glorious occasion of TravelLive’s Second Anniversary celebration, held here. The event was followed by a “Wildlife Photography Display” by actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty from his recent visit to the South African countries of Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Gabriel Sinimbo, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Namibia to India, concurrently accredited to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and Lovemore Ncube, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in India, representing the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to India, graced the event. Additionally, distinguished guests like Sabyasachi Chakraborty; Actor & Adviser, TravelLive; Mithu Chakrabarty, Actor & Brand Ambassador, TravelLive; Gaurav Chakrabarty, Actor & Brand Ambassador, TravelLive; Chandan Sen, Actor; along with Mahuya Sengupta, Founder Director, TravelLive; Pinaki Mitra, Founder & CEO, TravelLive; and Ritam Saha, Manager, Passenger & Cargo Services, India, Nepal & Bhutan, The International Air Transport Association (IATA), were also present at the event. With a deep historical and cultural background in Africa, TravelLive intends to rejuvenate the ties by strengthening organised tourism in different parts of the continent.
