Nizamabad (Telangana), Aug 10 (FN Agency) Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) cautioned the public on Wednesday against placing trust in leaders who only appear during election periods. Addressing a public gathering in Nizamabad after inaugurating various developmental projects, including an IT Hub, KTR stated that the progress achieved in the past nine years far outweighed what had been seen over the previous six decades. He highlighted that Telangana had surpassed Punjab in grain production. Criticizing the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, KTR noted that the price of an LPG cylinder had risen from Rs 450 to Rs 1200, causing an escalation in essential commodity prices due to soaring petroleum product costs. He said, “Nizamabad’s MP is creating differences between Hindus and Muslims in the name of religion. Nizamabad is flourishing, but some individuals only approach you during election times. Telangana, once plagued by Naxalism and extremism, now stands as a leading state.
Comprehensive welfare schemes are being extended to all citizens. Some individuals remain indifferent to public happiness. “Congress advocates a chance for them. Yet, what accomplishments can they present after 50 years in power? What credibility do they have to ask for more support? Revanth Reddy is not a true Telanganite; he’s a detriment to Telangana. Our party is rooted in the region, theirs is influenced by Delhi. Congress and BJP, mere subordinates to Delhi, are challenging Telangana’s self-respect. Nizamabad Urban should secure a resounding victory for the BRS candidate in the upcoming elections,” he said. KTR emphasised the remarkable advancements in towns and villages today, highlighting that IT hubs have now expanded to district centers. Respecting elders is a fundamental aspect of Hindu tradition and a symbol of human civilization. However, this MP disrespects KCR, a 70-year-old Chief Minister elected twice with the people’s blessings. I appeal to this MP to learn courtesy.” KTR urged the conscious people of Nizamabad to demonstrate their wisdom through their votes.
