AAP leader Sanjeev Jha attacks on BJP-led govt over ‘poor’ track maintenance

New Delhi, June 19 (Agency) Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA Sanjeev Jha on Monday hit out the BJP government over poor maintenance of railways and tracks. “If the government would have learnt lessons from previous mistakes, an incident in Odisha’s Balasore would have been averted,” alleged Jha. Addressing a press conference here, Jha claimed several train related incidents, minor and major, occurred during the last three years, but the government does not learnt these incidents.

“The government has reduced track maintenance staff compare to previous years. Prime Minister and his team always busy in PR despite improving the railways condition,” alleged Jha. “The government claimed that it has developed ‘Kavach’ technology to avert major train mishaps despite that Balasore incident happened,” alleged Jha.
