New Delhi, June 11 (Agency) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday hit out at Narendra Modi-led Central government and said it has “rejected” the Supreme Court’s order by passing an ordinance. “Modiji’s ordinance says-now people are not supreme, LG is supreme in Delhi,” he said at a maha rally held by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the BJP government in Delhi’s Ramlila Ground. Addressing the people from Ramlila Ground, Kejriwal said the AAP is fighting to save democracy and constitution. This fight will be successful as people are with us. “I have met several Opposition leaders on an ordinance issue to garner their support. Once this ordinance will be tabled in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to make it bill. We will oppose this bill in Rajya Sabha,” said Kejriwal. “The Centre has three powers, Land, Police and Public Order, apart from these, there is no power. SC gave a clear verdict on this but they brought an ordinance to reduce Delhi government’s power,” alleged Kejriwal.
“The Centre only creates hurdles in Delhi’s development work, whether it is mohalla clinic, CCTV installation across the city, education and health,” alleged CM. “When I give free electricity, Modiji says it is “revdi” distributing by me. I want to say what if I am giving free electricity to people,” said Kejriwal. “I challenge, compare my eight years of work in Delhi with 21 years of Modiji’s development. I did so many development works in eight years despite several hindrances but he did not do so after having full power,” claimed Kejriwal. “Now Modiji does not understand who to remove unemployment and corruption and fix the GST issue. Due to GST, the traders have become disillusioned. Once you travel in Second and third sleeper class tickets, you will see that the Centre has ruined the Railways,” alleged CM. Today again, Kejriwal, without naming anyone, narrated a story of a less educated king who had befriended a prominent businessman. “The fourth pass king is not able to understand how to handle the kingdom! It is said that one day Rs 2000 note will come, on the second day Rs 2000 note will go. Had there been a sensible King, he would have understood whether the note would come or go,” said Kejriwal.
