Shimla, June 2 (Representative) The Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh in a notification on Friday dalmost double the charges of HP Bhawan, HP Sadan Delhi and HP Bhawan Chandigarh by fixing tarif rate Rs 1200 per day from existing Rs 500 (Including 12 pc GST). New tariff will come into operation with immediate effect. The notification issued here by General Administeration Department said it fixed Rs 1200 per day the room tariff for occupation of accommodation in Himachal Bhawan and Sadan Delhi and Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh (except commercial rooms under control of HPTDC). Rate tariff is for seven cetagories of people including Chief Minister, Speaker / Dy. Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister, Minister, Judges of High Court, MPs, MLAs, Chairman / Vice Chairman of Boards & Corporations. H.P. Government Officers and Employees.
Ex. Chief Minister, Ex Ministers / Ex. MPs / Ex. MLAS / Ex. Chairman / Vice Chairman, Retired H.P. Government Employees. Spouse (Husband Wife / Son / Daughter) parents of Sr. No. I to 3. Central Government Employees / Bank Employees / LIC Employees posted in H.P (On Official Duty) Editors of National daily newspapers / Press Correspondents accredited to H.P. Govt. Other Himachalis would be charged Rs 1200 per day. However, for non-Himachalis have to pay Rs 2000 per day of a room. Earlier to this notification this tariff for non-HP coustomer was Rs 15000 (plus GST) For availing services like Wash, Change (Short Stay) 50 per cent charges would be which is equal to existing rent. The booking of above state property would be done by the concerned Manager ensuring that only those persons in whose name room have been reserved should be allowed to stay. Therefore there will be no occupancy by proxy. The HPTDC is also to ensure quality facilities to the occupants.
