Patanjali Foods profit rises 13 pc in Q4 to Rs 264 cr

New Delhi, May 30 (FN Representative) Patanjali Foods on Tuesday posted 13% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit at Rs 264 crore for January-March quarter (Q4) of financial year 2022-23. The company had clocked a profit of Rs 234 crore in Q4 of FY22. The company’s revenue from operations in the March quarter of FY23 stood at Rs 7,873 crore as compared to Rs 6,664 crore in the Q4 of FY22. In a media release, Patanjali Foods said it continued robust business and financial performance in FY23.

As per the statement, the company’s total income in FY23 stood at Rs 31,821.45 crores against Rs 24,284.38 crores in FY 2021-22. “The PBT (profit before tax) margin grew 9.7% in FY2023 to Rs 1,178.96 crores against Rs 1,074.38 crores in FY2022,” the FMCG firm said. The company said that the share of FMCG business in overall revenues grew exponentially to Rs 6,218.08 crores against Rs 1,683.24 crores in FY22 and reached 19.72% of the overall revenue against 6.95 % in the previous year.
