EAM holds talks with Swedish PM, NSA in Stockholm

New Delhi/Stockholm, May 15 (Agency) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is visiting Sweden, on Monday met Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and the National Security Advisor Henrik Landerholm. He also met the speaker of the Riksdag, or Sweden’s parliament. In tweets, EAM said that he conveyed the personal greetings of PM Modi during his meeting with the Swedish PM. “Delighted to meet PM Ulf Kristersson of Sweden. Conveyed the personal greetings of PM @narendramodi.

“Value his commitment towards strengthening the India-Sweden relationship.” EAM said that he had a very good discussion with the Swedish NSA, during which they shared strategic assessments of Europe and the Indo-Pacific. “A good discussion with Henrik Landerholm, National Security Advisor of Sweden. “Exchanged strategic assessments of Europe and Indo Pacific.” On his meeting with the Speaker of the Riksdag, he said: “Met Dr. Andreas Norlén, Speaker of the Riksdag of Sweden this morning. “Welcomed contacts between our two Parliamentary democracies.
