New Delhi, May 14 (Agency) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he held insightful discussions with Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, and he is happy to see India emerge as an attractive destination for investment. In a tweet, the PM said of his meeting with the Walmart CEO on Saturday: “The meeting with Mr. Doug McMillon, CEO of @Walmart, was a fruitful one. We had insightful discussions on different subjects. Happy to see India emerge as an attractive destination for investment.” The Walmart CEO thanked the Prime Minister for the meeting and said the company is working toward exporting $10 billion a year from India by 2027 and is looking to make India a global export leader in toys, seafood and other goods.
