Buttler fined 10 Percent of his match-fee for breaching IPL Code of Conduct

Kolkata, May 12 (Agency) Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler has been fined 10 Percent of his match-fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 56 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Eden Gardens, here on Thursday night..Buttler admitted to the Level 1 Offence under Article 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding. Meanwhile, the KKR suffered a heartbreaking loss at the Eden on the night as an inspired knockfrom Yashasvi Jaiswal led the Rajasthan Royals to a 9 wicket win.Put into bat first in a track similar to the previous game against Punjab Kings, the Knights lost openers Roy and Gurbaz early before Rana and Venkatesh steadied the ship.
