PM Modi created atmosphere of trust in country: Yogi

Varanasi, May 2 (FN Agency) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that an atmosphere of trust has been created by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last nine years with benefits of developmental works and welfare schemes now reaching every person without any discrimination. Addressing a rally in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in urban local body polls, Yogi said, “Everyone is witnessing the massive change taking place in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. India’s global prestige has gone up significantly. “Describing Kashi as the spiritual and cultural centre of the country, he said, “PM’s vision is our mission.

The double engine government is dedicatedly working towards development of the country and its people. Four crore people have been given houses, 8 crore have got LPG connections, 12 crore have got toilets, four crore have got free electricity connection and 35 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened in the last nine years to benefit the poor and the needy. “The CM said that 50 crore people were benefiting from Ayushman Bharat scheme whereas 80 crore got free ration and 220 crore free doses of Covid vaccines were provided during the pandemic. “We did what we said. Massive infrastructural development is also taking place in railways, highways, waterway, airports, setting up of AIIMS, IIMs and other technical institutes,” he said. He said that the effort of the double engine government was visible in UP as well.

“A total of 34 939 houses have been provided in urban areas whereas 36,400 street vendors have got interest free loans under PM SVANidhi scheme. Besides, 52,474 destitute women and 18576 differently abled are getting monthly pension while 1,81, 424 have got Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards,” he said. Yogi said that AC electric buses were running while work was going on war-footing on ropeway. Seeking votes for Mayoral candidate Ashok Tiwari and his team and appealing to people to elect a full majority board, he said that there was no terror of criminals today now in cities and the cities were developing into smart and safe cities.
