He said that before the formation of the government, Uddhav Thackeray had said that first temple and then the government, but he continued to oppose the temple even after forming the government. Shinde said Uddhav formed the government by falsifying his father’s promise out of greed, but respecting the people of Maharashtra, he(Shinde) fulfilled the dreams of Balasaheb.
He said that his government is the government of farmers, poor people, students and workers. He said, “We don’t run the government by sitting in AC. Our government is attached to the ground. We have the ability to go door-to-door to compensate farmers for their losses.” The Maharashtra CM said that it was Balasaheb’s dream that Article 370 should be abrogated in Kashmir and Ram Mandir should be built there. He said that Article 370 has been abrogated and a grand Ram temple is also being built in Ayodhya after realising the 500 year old dream. Attacking former Congress president Rahul Gandhi without taking his name, he said that the country is being defamed on the foreign soil.
