New Delhi, Mar 29 (Representative) The Delhi Assembly on Wednesday passed a confidence motion tabled by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to prove the majority in the House. Speaking in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal alleged, “Eight days back, BJP said that it will bring no-confidence motion in the House. They have eight MLAs and 14 are needed to bring no-confidence. BJP is trying to threaten our MLAs to join hands but not a single MLA of AAP went to their side.” “The opposition could not arrange the required number of 14 MLAs to bring a no-confidence motion following which they withdrew it.
If they were in our place, they would have insulted us a lot,” alleged Chief Minister. Kejriwal alleged, “Instead of talking to the public, they are always busy abusing me. In 2017, they tried to topple the AAP-led Delhi government. They used to say that they would poach some MLAs by disqualifying 21 MLAs and form the government.” “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji got a massive majority, he could have taken the country a long way but today there is an atmosphere of fear everywhere,” alleged Kejriwal.
