Bhubaneswar, March 23 (Representative) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved a proposal to waive entertainment tax on Hindi film Zwigato. The film directed by eminent director Nandita Das has famous actors Kapil Sharma and Sahana Goswami in lead roles. The storyline of the movie depicts the life of a food delivery boy and his struggle. The entire shooting of the film has been made in Bhubaneswar. The Odisha government is promoting Odisha as a destination for film shooting through proactive policies.
This will promote tourism potential and provide employment opportunities for talented youth. The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of Nandita Das for promoting Odisha as a destination for shooting commercial movies. Patnaik joined a special screening event for the movie “Zwigato” at Naveen Niwas this evening and praised the movie stating that it successfully presents the struggling life of common men in the cities. Patnaik also appreciated the artistic portrayal in the movie. The movie, he hoped, will succeed in giving a positive message for social change and human values.
