Centre to set up 12,500 Ayush Health & Wellness centres across Country by 2023-24: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (FN Agency) The Central Government is working to establish 12,500 Ayush Health & Wellness Centers across the country by 2023-24 to make this Ayurvedic medicine accessible to the people of the country, said Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy here on Sunday. Ayurveda has had a unique identity in the Indian system of medicine since ancient times. E-Sanjeevani telemedicine OPD services were launched in 2019 to enable people to get free health advice from their homes. Till now more than 8 crore people of the country have availed free telemedicine services through this program, he said.
