Tribals, Dalits, backward and minorities need to be intellectually strong: Soren

New Delhi, Dec 12 (FN Bureau) Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that Tribals, Dalits, Backward and Minorities need to be intellectually strong for which the best medium is education. While addressing girl students at St Patrick’s Cathedral Complex here he told the girl students to study with a lot of heart to achieve new heights in education and other fields for which they will get full cooperation from the state government. On this occasion, the girl students of St Angela Hostel welcomed the Chief Minister according to traditional customs. Addressing the girl students the Chief Minister said that the government is taking all appropriate steps for their better education.

If you want to make a career in fields like Medical, Engineering, and Law, then the government will help you. Apart from this, the government has started a scheme to provide financial assistance to the candidates preparing for examinations like UPSC, JPSC, Banking, Railway, SSC and along with this the amount of scholarship has also been increased so that the children of tribal, Dalit, backward and minority classes are not isolated from studies he said in his address to the girl students. The Chief Minister said that financial constraints will no longer come in the way of tribals, Dalits and minorities pursuing higher education abroad. The government will provide them with full expenses for higher education abroad. He asked them to get associated with the schemes of the government and extend their cooperation with yourself in improving the future of the state.
