INDvNZ: 1st T20I abandoned due to rains

Wellington, Nov 18 (Agency) Both India and New Zealand, who wanted to get over T20 World Cup heartbreak, were once again heartbroken after the first T20 match of the three-match series was abandoned due to incessant rain here on Friday. The heartbroken teams came into the match after their exit from the T20 World Cup at the semifinal stage.

India and New Zealand lost to England and Pakistan, respectively, in the knockout matches. The second T20I will be played in Mount Maunganui on Sunday where young turks Umran Malik, Shubman Gill, and Ishan Kishan will look to make the cut.
