Hyderabad, Sep 15 (FN Agency) Harvard University Professor Steve Jarding on Thursday said Global warming would turn into the biggest threat and would lead to the submergence of islands and would cause a huge inflow of refugee population. Addressing GITAMites during the guest talk, about the serious issues that the present generation of the 21st century is facing, Prof.Steve, who is also a communications expert and an international political consultant, cautioned about the spread of global warming ravaging the world where he gave the example of the Brazilian rainforest which was the supplier of the world’s 25 percent of oxygen is now being reduced for mining and other industrial purposes. He urged the audience present to come forward and take the lead to address the global issues that are faced now and safeguard the future.

The biggest challenge that the world is facing now was incomprehensible to the people of the 20th century, he said by 2030, he expressed, the world would be dominated by four powers which will be China, The United States of America, The European states and India. He is confident that the future generation with their good knowledge would take pledge to address these problems by preserving resources.
