New Delhi, Sep 13 (Agency) The Congress on Tuesday demanded the government to complete the delimitation of the 250 Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) wards at the earliest. The statement of the party comes amid reports that the Delimitation Committee, constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, completed the work of draft for delimitation of MCD wards.
“The delimitation of the 250 wards should be completed at the earliest so as not to delay the MCD elections any further,” Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar Chaudhary said here. He claimed that people are facing inconvenience/harassment in the absence of an elected body in the MCD. The Delimitation Committee, constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, completed the work of draft for delimitation of MCD wards.
