Nashik, Aug 31 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad on Wednesday said that Chakradhar Swami has done the work of preserving Indian culture. Chakradhar Swami, through Mahanubhava Panth, gave the message of equality of all religions and if we work unitedly, the country will definitely gain glory. Union Minister of State for Finance assured that the development of Bharuch in Gujarat, which is the birthplace of Lord Shri Chakradhar Swami, who taught the world the Anhisa Paramdharma, will be developed on the lines of Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath. Dr Bhagwat Karad was talking on the occasion of Chakradhar Swami’s eight centenary birth anniversary, a three-day All-India Mahanubhava Samela has been organized at the Dongre hostel grounds.
The program was attended by Deputy Speaker Narahari Jirwal, Minister of State for Water Resources of Gujarat State Jitubhai Choudhary, MLAs Hiraman Khoskar, Saroj Ahire, Sunil Bhusara, former MLA Balasaheb Sanap, Acharya Upadhyay Kulacharya Bidkarbaba, Parimandalya Kulacharya Acharya Pravar Lasurkar Baba, Kavishwar Kulacharya Acharya Pravar Khamnikar Baba, Acharya Pravar His Holiness Mahant Suknekar Baba Shastri, Karanjekar Baba, Sharad Dhole, National Coordinator of Dharma Awakening, Dinkar Patil, Datta Gaikwad, Member of Samelan Welcome Committee along with Saints, Mahants, Ascetics, Priests etc. were present in large numbers. Dr. Karad further said that Chakradhar Swami’s birthplace is Bharuch in Gujarat.
Arrangements will be made for Mahanubhabi Panthiya to go there as soon as possible after discussing with the Gujarat Government. He also said that the demands of government worshiping of Jali God in Buldana, establishment of Marathi university in Maharashtra will also be considered. India was called the Gold Bird. This golden country was encroached upon by the Mughals and the British, at that time sadhus played a very important role and preserved their religion and culture. Chakradhar Swamy played an important role in this. Dr. Karad said that he has spread his religion and culture by writing books in different dialects.
