Hyderabad, Aug 26 (Representative) Ministry of External Affairs Secretary (CPV & OLA) Dr Ausaf Sayeed on Thursday said that, with over 9 million Indians, the employment opportunities are getting saturated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Keeping this in view, he said, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is entering into MoUs with a number of developed countries, from across the globe, in order to provide newer employment opportunities to the Indian High-End Skilled Manpower, said Dr Sayeed during his visit to Dr MCR HRD Institute here.. He said that the Ministry of External Affairs is sponsoring training programs, through its ITEC Division, for the benefit of its Partner Countries from across the Globe. Dr Sayeed, said that multifarious employment opportunities are emerging in different countries from across the globe and underlined the need to further multiply the capacity building initiatives in India in order to take a lion’s share of these opportunities.
The Secretary said that there is a proposal under the active consideration of the MEA to not only empanel Dr MCR HRD Institute to conduct these training program but also to utilize its services in the delivery of the training programs for the Trainee IFS Officers and for the Mid-Service Training Programs for the serving Diplomats both from India and Foreign countries. Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Director General, Dr MCR HRD Institute & Principal Secretary to Government of Telangana said that Dr MCR HRD Institute enjoys the unique distinction in India of conducting the Foundation Course for All India Services and Central Civil Services Officers on behalf of Lal Bahadur Sastry National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA).
He said, with a sense of pride, that the Institute is fully equipped to conduct the training programs not only for the All India Services and Central Civil Services Officers but also their counterparts from across the globe. Bramha Kumar,Joint Secretary (OE &PGE),Ministry of External Affairs, who accompanied the Secretary, underlined the need for exposing the All India Services and Central Civil Services officers to a module on Foreign Policy, Issues relating to Indian Diaspora, Refugees. Dasari Balaiah, (C & CE), Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad, who also presented, advised the Institute to utilize the services of Hyderabad-based retired Indian Foreign Service Officers in the delivery of its training programs. Dr K Tirupataiah, Chief Consultant (Training) made a power-point presentation on the initiatives of the Institute.
