Gorakhpur, Jan 13 (Agency) Amidst the on-going projects of strengthening of road and air connectivity in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the seaplane service will soon be launched in Ramgarh Tal of Gorakhpur. Addressing people from the stage of Gorakhpur Mahotsav, the CM said, “The process will start soon in this regard. The main speciality of this plain is that it can land in water along with the airport.”
Addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day Gorakhpur Mahotsav 2021 on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said, “There are 9 flights from Gorakhpur to all major cities of the country, and soon the international flight will start from Kushinagar.” Stating that modern infrastructure needs development and people should get the benefit of it, The CM said, “In the coming days, anyone can catch a plane from the circuit house and fly to any corner across India.” UP CM Yogi Adityanath also unfurled the tallest national flag in the state on the Ramgarh Tal. Being 246-feet high, the Tricolor is the 10th highest national flag in the country and is visible from a distance of 15 kilometers. He also virtually inaugurated the gateway of Naya Savera and the Buddha Gate located near Padleganj. In the closing ceremony of Gorakhpur Mahotsav, motorised tricycles were provided to 100 Divyangs in the event by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
One of the famous Bhajan singers of India Nandu Mishra, Chief Warden of Civil Defense Dr. Sanjeev Gulati, ophthalmologist Dr. Narendra Mohan Seth, Meenakshi Narayan, who discovered God particle in the field of science, Dr. Ramchet Chaudhary, who discovered five species of Kalanamak rice, Olympian Ali Saeed and Arjun Avardi Prem Maya, international wrestler Amarnath Yadav, Entrepreneur Jyoti Maskara were honoured with Gorakhpur Ratna by CM Yogi in the event.
