Delhi Govt’s Happiness Curriculum successful: Sisodia

New Delhi, July 14 (FN Agency) Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Thursday said the Happiness Curriculum has been very successful, so now children themselves believe that their focus has increased in studies and it helped them to remain stress-free. Parents believe that there has been a change in the behaviour of children. Teachers also believed that they have noticed changes in themselves and students through this curriculum, Sisodia added. He said under the Happiness Utsav, various activities related to happiness will be organised for the next 15 days and this time, it will not be limited to Delhi government schools only, but children will teach five people each what they have learned in the Happiness class. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “For the first time in the history of the country, children are being taught to become good human beings and to live happily.

This is the most important goal of education, but it has never been taught yet. The experiments being done in the field of education in Delhi will show the way not only to the country, but to the entire humanity in the coming times.” Sisodia said, “Happiness Classes have brought a path breaking change in the students’ mindset; through the Happiness Utsav, we’ll teach lakhs of Delhiites to lead a happy life. The Happiness Curriculum has seen a tremendous journey in the last four years, with the students’ focus increasing, and children staying stress-free.” ‘Happiness Utsav 2022’ started in Delhi government schools from Thursday. Renowned Lifestyle Coach Gaur Gopal Das and Manish Sisodia inaugurated the fortnight-long festival at Kautilya Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Chirag Enclave here. On this occasion, Gaur Gopal Das practiced mindfulness, while attending a Happiness class with the children and while talking to the children, he told them the real meaning of Happiness.
