Chennai, July 7 (Agency) Three Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Tamil Nadu team led by its Chairman Satyakam Arya today Chief Minister M K Stalin and handed over a cheque for Rs.1.35 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund towards economic aid to crisis hit Sri Lanka.. The amount was contributed by the CII Members.
Satyakam Arya said CII would like to thank and appreciate the Chief Minister for providing various relief measures to the people of Sri Lanka who are affected due to the recent economic crisis. Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu have a long standing economic and cultural relations and the measures taken by the Tamil Nadu Government would further strengthen the relationship with the Island Nation, Arya said in a statement.
