Nadda interacts with envoys of seven countries

New Delhi, June 5 (Agency) BJP President JP Nadda on Saturday met envoys from seven countries including Russia, and discussed the party’s electoral victories, organisational structure, ideology and performance of the Narendra Modi government in last eight years, including flagship programs.Nadda hosted the heads of missions from the embassies of Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, LAO PDR, Kyrgyzstan and Cuba at the national headquarters of the BJP in Delhi.This was the third in the series of interactions being held with heads of missions of different countries, said the BJP.To familiarize envoys of different countries about the BJP’s ideology, history, programs and initiatives, Nadda has been holding a series of interactions with them as a part of the ‘Know BJP” program of the party.The BJP said in a statement that Nadda informed the envoys about the eight years of the their government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Nadda told the envoys in last eight years, the government has been able to being 12 per cent people out of the poverty line.”Today just less than 10 percent of Indians are living below the poverty line.

Despite the Corona pandemic our extreme poverty level has been below 0.8 per cent,” the BJP President and former Union Minister said as per a statement by BJP.Nadda also told envoys that the BJP is world’s “largest political organization” and said the party wants to improve ties with all political parties across the world so that they can work towards making a world where there is “peace, development, prosperity and cooperation”.”This is the reason why we have taken this initiative of ‘Know BJP’,” Nadda said.He said the government has been dedicated and devoted to service, good governance and welfare of the poor. The BJP president said the BJP’s tenure has been “highly successful and of big achievements”.Nadda said BJP goal is ‘Antyodaya’, ideology is Integral Humanism and the philosophy is cultural nationalism.He said in past eight years, Narendra Modi Government has had a “successful journey of transformation of India.”He also said BJP has strong internal democracy, and informed them about the organization structure and processes.He told the envoys the BJP is the only political organization which has never compromised with its ideology and principles since its inception.He also informed the diplomats about the “massive victories” of the BJP in the recent polls in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur and said it shows the faith, trust and respect the people of the country has for PM Modi and BJP.

He called it a stamp on programmes and policies, government’s good and effective governance, and said BJP has been winning elections after elections at all levels – from local bodies to states.”The performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party has improved considerably under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji,” he said.He also talked about the Covid vaccination program and said BJP workers distributed over 50 crore food packets and ration kits to poor and needy people across the country during the pandemic period.Government schemes like Ujjwala Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojna, Saubhagya Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, Kisan Maan Dhan Yojna were also mentioned.Nadda also talked about various evacuations carried out by India, including those from Afghanistan, Iraq, Wuhan and Yemen.He also mentioned the recent evacuation from Ukraine as Russia-Ukraine war started.The first such interaction was held on April 6, the foundation day of the BJP, when Nadda interacted with envoys of France, EU Delegation, Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Romania, Bangladesh, Singapore, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Vietnam, and Norway.In the second round of interactions, he met envoys US, Australia, Canada, Israel, Denmark, Bhutan, Fiji, Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Suriname and Dominican Republic attended the event hosted by the BJP Overseas Cell.
