Mumbai, May 30 (Agency) State-owned ONGC announced on Monday that its net profit for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022, was jumped by 32 per cent to Rs 8,860 crore, as against Rs 6,734 crore during the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. Its gross revenue was at Rs 34,497 crore, up by 63 per cent over Rs 21,189 crore year-on-year. The company has posted the highest ever net profit of Rs 40,306 crore for FY-22, up by 258 per cent over Rs 11,246 crore in last fiscal. Total dividend for FY-22 Rs 10.50 per share (210 per cent), considering interim dividend of Rs 7.25 per share (145 per cent) and final dividend of Rs 3.25 per share (65 per cent).
Four discoveries were made and six monetised in FY-22. The decrease in oil / gas production was attributed to impact of cyclone Tauktae in western offshore assets and western onshore assets and modification work at Hazira. The board of directors of ONGC approved the annual results for FY-22 in its 350th meeting held on May 28, a company release said here.
