Los Angeles, May 15 (Agency) Britney Spears and has announced that she suffered a miscarriage early in pregnancy. Sharing the disappointing news on Instagram on Saturday, the pop star said that she and her partner Sam Asghari had “lost our miracle baby”. It came months after she got released from a legal arrangement that gave her father control over several aspects of her life. The 40-year-old singer, who has two teenage sons, said, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent.
“Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however, we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support.” She also requested “privacy during this difficult moment”. The post was shared by singer’s partner as well. Reacting to the pop stars post, Asghari said, “We will have a miracle soon” along with a heart emoji. According to BBC, after announcing her pregnancy in April, Britney Spears said it would probably be “hard” as she had previously experienced perinatal depression – the medical term for depression occurring any time between becoming pregnant to about a year after giving birth.
