Suhl (Germany), May 11 (Agency) Indian rifle shooter Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil and Abhinav Shaw clinched gold and silver medal respectively in the 10m Air Rifle event in ISSF World Cup Junior on Wednesday. Rudrankksh defeated Abhinav 17-13 in the all Indian final to clinch the top position. The duo topped the final stage elimination with 260.9 and 257.7 points respectively to qualify for the gold medal contest.
On Tuesday, Rudrankksh was on top of the qualification stage, Abhinav was placed third followed by Parth on the fifth place respectively. In the junior women’s 10m Air rifle event, Ramita bagged the silver after losing 8-16 to Oceanne Muller of France in the gold final. The Indian finished on top in the qualification stage with 630.6 points before topping the final elimination stage after shooting 261. India has so far won three medals ( 1 gold and two silvers) and placed on top of the medal table.
