BJP complains against Punjab Police

New Delhi, May 6 (Bureau) A complaint has been lodged with Delhi Police that a Punjab Police team allegedly beat the father of BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga when they came to arrest the latter from his residence in the national capital.

Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta tweeted: “Sending 50-60 Punjab Police personnel to the house of a young BJP leader, forcibly lifting him up and getting his elderly father beaten up is proof of the dictatorial mindset of Arvind Kejriwal.” The BJP said it will stage a demonstration outside the Aam Aadmi Party office here. Earlier, Bagga was picked up by Punjab Police from his residence.
